Cherry Creek

Every year since I can remember, we have gone camping in the Arco mountains at a place called Cherry Creek. I have some of the fondest memories with my Grandpa Lankford there. It's right by a small creek, we fish, we ride motorcycles, and my favorite, relax. There isn't any cell service and it's so fun to just get away for a little while. This is when Nick met my family last year and when we first said I love you. It has a special place in our hearts and we had soo much fun this year. Us and my sister and brother-in-law went up a day early. It was the first time we had been up there without parentals and thankfully we all survived! We were only terrorized by some coyotes that came through camp in the middle of the night. Zues, my sister's dog scared them away and Tank cowered in fear. It was also the first time I have ever slept in a tent up there and was very glad when the camper showed up!  Tank loved camping! One night we decided to leave him untied because he never wanders anywhere. The next morning my mom came and said, not to alarm you but I can't find Tank. I began the search confused because he has never even left our yard, why would he go wander around the mountains. I hurried to ask Austin and Tara because they often take him with them when we aren't around. Austin said he saw him by the tent earlier so I went and checked around it and found nothing. I decided to check inside and sure enough there he was up on the air mattress! Stinking Dog snuck in there and was just having the best time. We laughed pretty hard about that.  I think at one point we had about 40 family members there! It's always such a great way to end the summer.

Summer Recap

We are so excited that this semester is over but here's some pictures of what our summer looks like!
Nick doesn't love his bandana but I thought it was pretty cute.
Nick's was wanted a new motorcycle and after much discussion, we figured it out and he got one. Pretty spoiled huh ;)
On the way home from Utah.
Tank really enjoys the Love Sac
After growing my hair out for about 5 years I decided it was time for a change. After a lot of chopping this is the result.

 Celebrating National Doughnut day!
Tank also loves the new ride.
Tank has many cute faces.

I have the best husband. I told him one night that I wanted a fire pit in our yard and the next day it was done! We spend neither every night sitting out there! It's been so fun! He did an awesome job on it!

There were some motorcycle races in Blackfoot that Nick wanted to go to so we through the Love Sac in the back and just sat in there, Tank just hung out all day too. It was tons of fun!

Someone got a new dog bed, then about two weeks later he destroyed it. Naughty Dog.

We went to Washington for the 4th of July, we had such a good time! We went boating, played volleyball, did some swimming and ate awesome food. I unfortunately took no pictures except of Tank. haha He slept the entire 8 hour drive but was pretty bored of the car.

Nick found this cool hat at TJMaxx, I thought he should buy it. He said no haha
We love Nights on the Lake.
Pouting outside.

Tank has loved going to work with Nick and usually ends up super muddy.

These pictures were on the last day of school and basically the story of our lives. Nick telling me stop being weird but then goes along with it, then a failed attempted haha. We had such a fun summer and can't wait for our next adventures.
